About Earlybird

Earlybird is a venture capital investor focused on European technology companies. Founded in 1997, Earlybird's pan-European approach backs early-stage, growth, and development phases of portfolio companies – providing financial resources, strategic support, and access to an international network & capital markets.

We operate a family of funds with different focus areas. The Digital West team invests primarily in early-stage digital technology opportunities emerging in Western Europe. The Digital East team targets similar companies in Eastern Europe and the Health team back disruptive startups across Europe. The newer Earlybird-X team invests in pre-seed in Western Europe and university spinoffs; the Growth Opportunities Fund is a pan-Earlybird growth fund.

With EUR 2 billion under management across all fund streams, 8 IPOs, and 30 trade sales, Earlybird is one of Europe’s most established and active venture capital firms.
