Women representation in GP roles across Venture Capital has ranged from 5-12% over the last decade. To build stronger foundations within the industry, a group of VCs established Breaking 7% in the US with the aim to promote professional growth. In 2023, we brought this initiative to Europe.
This chapter will run evening networking events across European cities to establish a forum for advice, bringing together 25-30 women. To facilitate collaboration, the events’ structure encourages attendees to bring forward individual requests within the context of our platform’s "Ask initiative".
